KR Valve manufactures more than 500 valve products, including wafer, lug, concentric and double eccentric butterfly valves, resilient seat, metal seat and knife gate valves, dual disc, swing, lift and ball type check valves, ball valves, hydraulic water control valves such as 200X pressure reducing valves and 100X remote float valves, and Y type strainers.

Which international standards do KR valves follow?

Our range covers common international standards such as DIN F5 face-to-face gate valves, BS5163 resilient seat gate valves, BS5153 dual disc check valves, ANSI flanged strainers and PN16 pressure rated water control valves. Non-standard designs can be engineered to your drawings.

Do you offer OEM valve manufacturing?

Yes. In addition to our own KR brand, we provide OEM services, including customer branding, specified body and seat materials, actuation options and project-specific packaging.

Should I choose a wafer or a lug butterfly valve?

Wafer butterfly valves are lighter and more economical and are clamped between two flanges, making them ideal for standard water and HVAC lines. Lug butterfly valves have threaded lugs that allow dead-end service and removal of downstream piping without draining the whole line, which suits maintenance-critical systems.

How is valve quality controlled before shipment?

Every process is inspected from raw material to finished product, and 100% of finished valves are inspected before dispatch. Production plans and lead times are defined upfront through full-chain supply control.

Characteristics

The gate valve body is made of WCB carbon steel castings, which have excellent welding performance and mechanical processing performance. The tensile strength is 485~655MPa, and it can withstand a temperature range of -29 ℃~427 ℃. It is suitable for non corrosive media such as water, steam, oil, natural gas, etc., and its cost-effectiveness is better than that of alloy valves.

Advantages

1. Excellent material mechanical properties and strong adaptability to working conditions

The tensile strength is 485-655MPa, the yield strength is ≥ 250MPa, and the elongation is ≥ 22%. It has both rigidity and toughness, and can withstand opening and closing impacts and pressure fluctuations. It is not easy to deform or fracture after long-term operation.

2. High temperature resistance, wide range of applications

Applicable temperature -29 ℃ to 427 ℃, suitable for conventional media such as water, steam, oil, natural gas, etc., with a conventional design pressure of ≤ 10MPa, suitable for most working conditions of PN16-PN420 (Class150-Class2500).

3. Corrosion resistance and long service life

Corrosion resistance is better than ordinary carbon steel in non oxidizing environments, and the sealing surface can be welded with hard alloy (such as STL) to further enhance wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
