Explore our certified flow control series engineered to DIN, BS, and ANSI rigorous standards.
A rigorous examination of geometry, torque-seated sealing mechanisms, and non-rubbing disc rotation in severe service isolation.
The stem shaft is positioned behind the sealing plane of the valve disc seat. This offset allows a continuous 360-degree uninterrupted sealing surface around the full circumference of the body seat, eliminating common leakage points found in concentric designs.
The shaft centerline is displaced laterally from the pipe axis and valve center. This secondary displacement generates a camming motion as the disc rotates, lifting the seal ring cleanly off the body seat within the first few degrees of opening to drastically minimize friction.
The seat cone axis is inclined obliquely to the valve center line. This third eccentric geometry creates an inclined conical profile that eliminates all rubbing friction between disc seal ring and body seat throughout the entire stroke until final contact.
Conventional soft-seated or double-eccentric valves rely on position seating, where the disc is jammed into an elastic seat to achieve seal tightness. Over time, thermal cycling, mechanical wear, and swelling cause permanent deformation and seat failure. In contrast, our OEM Triple Offset Butterfly Valve (TOBV) utilizes a torque-seated metal-to-metal architecture. Seal tightness is generated by actuator torque forcing a laminated stainless steel & graphite seal ring into a hardened Stellite® body seat. This mechanical contact behaves like an inclined cone fitting into a matching cone seat—delivering bidirectional bi-directional zero-leakage (API 598 / ISO 5208 Rate A) even under cryogenic conditions (-196°C) or high thermal spikes up to +815°C.
Integrating Industry 4.0 smart analytics, advanced metallurgy, and ultra-low fugitive emission containment.
Modern process automation demands real-time intelligence. Our next-generation triple eccentric valves feature integrated digital positioners with piezo-resistive pressure sensors, strain gauges, and vibration monitoring nodes. This enables plant operators to predict stem packing wear, detect seat erosion prior to leak thresholds, and automate SIL-3 partial stroke testing (PST) via Modbus, HART, or Foundation Fieldbus protocols without shutting down process lines.
As green hydrogen, LNG export, and high-pressure chemical cracking expand globally, valve metallurgy must evolve beyond standard WCB and CF8M. Our research roadmap incorporates Duplex 2205, Super Duplex 2507, Hastelloy C276, Monel K500, and Inconel 625 body materials. Coupled with extended bonnets featuring gas columns compliant with BS 6364, our valves ensure stem packing integrity down to cryogenic temperatures (-196°C).
Leveraging state-of-the-art 5-axis CNC machining, automated overlay welding, and rigorous QA matrixes.
Triple offset conical profiles require sub-micron precision machining tolerances. Our automated 5-axis Mazak machining centers execute body seat counter-bores and disc elliptic contours in a single setup, guaranteeing absolute geometric accuracy and eliminating alignment drifts.
Body seating surfaces undergo plasma transferred arc (PTA) robot welding to apply Stellite® 6 hardfacing. This creates an erosion-resistant seat hardness of HRC 38-45 that withstands high-velocity particulate slurries, steam cavitation, and thermal degradation.
Every valve undergoes 100% hydrostatic body and seat testing (API 598 / EN 12266-1). Materials are tracked via spectrographic Positive Material Identification (PMI), EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates, and full radiographic non-destructive examination (NDE).
