The resilient seat gate valve is a common regulating and shut-off device used on fluid pipelines. The opening and closing component of the elastic seat seal gate valve is the gate, and the direction of movement of the gate is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid.

Product Description

Product Specifications

Valve Type: Resilient seat gate valve Structure: Non-rising type
Standard: BS5163 Workmanship: Investment casting
Sealing direction: Bidirectional Sealing grade: Zero leakage
Temperature: -20°C < T < 120°C Operation: Handwheel

Characteristics

The resilient seat gate plate usually adopts the overall encapsulation process, and the sealing surface of the rubber material can compensate for small errors in the sealing surface through elastic deformation, achieving zero leakage. At the same time, the valve stem seal adopts an "O" - shaped sealing ring, usually with three layers, which can effectively prevent medium leakage.

Characteristics of Resilient Seat Gate Valve

Advantages

1. Good Anti-Corrosion Performance

The inner and outer surfaces of the valve body and valve cover are generally treated with epoxy resin powder electrostatic spraying, and the gate is covered with rubber to prevent rusting of the valve body and corrosion of the medium. The connecting bolts are also mostly made of hexagonal bolts with top sealing, further enhancing the anti-corrosion ability.

2. Compact Structure

The overall valve cover is designed with a concealed stem, and the valve stem nut and gate are two body structures. The valve stem moves inside the valve body, occupying small space and suitable for installation sites with limited space.

3. Easy to Operate

The "O" - shaped sealing ring design between the valve stem and the valve cover reduces frictional resistance during opening and closing, making valve operation more agile and flexible. The sealing ring can be replaced without stopping the flow of medium in the pipeline.

4. Good Hygiene

The epoxy resin meets hygiene standards, and the gate is covered with rubber that meets hygiene inspection. The valve stem, valve stem nut, and other parts are made of stainless steel or bronze materials that are not corroded by water and can be used in drinking water systems.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q What is a resilient seat gate valve?
A resilient seat gate valve utilizes an elastomer-encapsulated gate (wedge) that creates an absolute zero-leakage seal by conforming elastically against the valve body interior during closure.
Q What design standards does this gate valve follow?
This valve is manufactured according to the BS5163 standard, featuring a non-rising stem structure and high-precision investment casting.
Q What is the standard working temperature range?
The general operational temperature ranges from -20°C to 120°C (with short-term resistance up to 150°C), depending on the chosen seat material such as EPDM, NBR, FKM, or PTFE.
Q Is this valve suitable for potable/drinking water applications?
Yes. The non-toxic epoxy resin coating complies with strict international hygiene standards, and internal corrosion-resistant materials (stainless steel/bronze) prevent fluid contamination.
Q Can the stem O-ring seals be replaced without shutting down system pressure?
Yes, the multi-layered O-ring sealing design allows stem seal maintenance and replacement under pressure without interrupting pipeline flow.
Q How are these valves packaged for ocean transport?
All products are packed in heavy-duty standard export wooden cases to protect the valve bodies and handwheels from impact and corrosion during international shipping.
